Jul 8, 2011 - I do hear a bit of the British accent when you and your sister are speaking Chinese. But ppl also tell me they can hear my american accent when I speak Chinese. Maybe its cause we are not exactly native speakers. Maybe ppl are just curious what part of China your family is from. A lot of ppl know and have visited the exact village their family comes from  (country folks anyway). Guess its a sense of pride. My fam is from Taishan, but i was born and raised in San Diego.
