People here in Los Angeles reasons for voting Republican (economics, drug epidemics, crime waves, border issues) than say, people in the deep south or midwest who may have the luxury of voting based on religious semantics. With genetic screening, genetically abnormal children aren't conceived in the first place, therefore no killing is necessary. Now that scientists have modeled a correlation between male homosexuality and female hypersexuality in the same families I think it's a matter of time before we have allele data to give couples the option of screening for/avoiding homosexual offspring.
