Oct 28, 2011 - There is a dream ballet sequence in "Lili" where 'One Is A Lonely Number' is played. If you have it, might you post it also. I recall the Mantovani music you are playing from the 1950s. At one time in the 50s, this kind of music was very popular and played on the radio along with Elvis, country and rock music. The Eclectic 50s.

I am in the process of producing a second tribute to the lovely Leslie Caron and I have lots of suitable music that should be appropriate. Oct 28, 2011 - Oh Hi! Or better yet, Hi Lili Hi Lo! :) This particular piece of music, "One Is A Lonely Number" is a dream-like ballet sequence in the movie "Lili." It was marvelously orchestrated. The short answer is to look for it in the movie. :) Did you happen to download the entire movie in segments on youtube? If so, then it can be found. I surely don't expect you to find this needle in a haystack. It is just a lovely song. I was 15 years old in 1953 when that movie came out. Cheers!

May 3, 2012 - Quite right. Those two tracks sound like they're by Mantovani. However Percy Faith had both those tracks in one of his albums. In Montmartre the slick cascading strings of Mantovani are clearly heard. Of course, interspersed is the title song "Gigi."
