Sep 29, 2010 - Bit of sour grapes coming in here folks. Denny was great but let's be honest, Rab's voice made these songs and he sang them for 25 years. He's not earned a penny from them in all that time whilst the other member of Scheme have been cashing in. Give the big man a break.

Sep 29, 2010 - The lyrics made the band, not Rab. they wouldnt have had the following they did if Rab or OTHER members were standing singing about nothing.. disagree big time, Rab did not make Scheme, every single member brought something to the table, Scheme would not have been the band they were without a great songwriter, its not a voice that makes a band!!!

Sep 30, 2010 - I agree, they all brought something, but a Scheme song is not a Scheme song unless big Rab is singing it and to say It's not the voice?? Really, well try telling that to Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Bruce Springsteen, and countless other front men and women who sing songs written by other people. Rab has not been singing for years now while all the other members have been gigging. Bit unfair to deny him a wee come back.

Sep 30, 2010 - Not denying anyone a comeback. I think you may find all the singers you named wrote nearly all their own songs, they sang so brillantly. Think its just pretty crap when someone like Rab tries to take all the credit for other peoples hard work. Happen to think John Smith and Denny Oliver also had a good voice. We are all entitled to our opinions, I respect yours.
