Jan 13, 2012 - Because the same voice was talking at the same time in the game, near the begining it sounded like it said "Let's get re-tarded!". 7:03

Jan 14, 2012 - This system was expensive but like the saying goes you get what you pay for, and this was way past snes and genesis in terms of graphics, to me it was 1.neo geo aes 2. Snes 3. Genesis kings of the 16 bit era despite the neo geo being a 24 bit system I think, it was hell o'fun keep the videos rollin gamester

Jan 14, 2012 - Yup, and even with the ports on the MVS systems (provided you can get to the plug inside the cabinet).

Feb 22, 2012 - Does anyone know if the american and the japanese versions look any different? I was wondering how you would know if you wanted to buy one and make sure you got the right one.

Feb 24, 2012 - I really empathize with the Neo Geo AES collectors. On any given day, one could expect to spend anywhere from $50 to $150 on a single game cartridge. For the more rare titles--the most coveted games in the AES library--the price can leap up to over $1,000. It's an amazing system, but I can't justify the hefty price tag. Thanks for the review, and shedding some light on these rare but valuable games!

Apr 6, 2012 - not only that the language is dependent on the country the system is from, you can play a japanese cart on an english system and it will play in english or vice versa.

Apr 20, 2012 - You really need to be a doctor, lawyer, or judge to actually collect for that system. I'm almost 30 and these things are still to this day are still out of my reach. Thank god for my modded original Xbox which has almost every Neo Geo game you can imagine. lol

May 3, 2012 - Not to mention Metal Slug and Blazing Star, Slug is like 3 grand and Star is over 2. To be fair though, collecting MVS isn't too expensive, you can even get multicarts with a huge selection of games on them. It really is worth it to seek out a console MVS, it's the arcade at home and I love it, besides, it saves the space of having a dedicated cabinet.

Jul 18, 2011 - Neo Geo is in a class by itself, Pc Engine/TurboGrafx is probably the closest system to share some of it's DNA of exclusive greatness. Then comes the Nes in the popular fun department followed by the 16 bit kings Snes and Genesis (Nes still remains more collectible than both Snes and Genesis). It was'nt until the PS1 that true greatness was relived. The N64, GameCube, PS2, Saturn, DreamCast were average great systems with DC and Saturn at the top. Today's games are sugarcoated with hype.
