Apr 14, 2012 - I get your point if you don't like the thrashier feel the older albums have, but are more drawn to the experimential side of Death. I love the Experimential side of Death, but i also love especially their first album. just listen to Zombie Ritual, you gotta admit it's pretty catchy in a way. and just imagine being in the 80's and hearing stuff like this, that is way more brutal than anything you have ever heard. I personally love the first album. whatever floats your boat :P

When I listen to the really fast, aggressive, thrashy/Death Metal kind of metal, I can never get into it. I've always been more for good song structure and catchy riffs. Opeth, Cynic (Traced in Air and onwards) and Protest the Hero are some good examples I think :3

May 3, 2012 - I hate how freely the idiom "sold out" gets tossed. Some bands are simply poor as fuck and want to make a fucking living.  But this album was not sold out. It is still very heavy and incomprehensible by the general public so it's pretty far from it. Pretty catchy too!
