Apr 12, 2011 - I don't understand why gays want to get married in the first place. Marriage is a sanctified union between a man and a woman recognised by God. The Bible clearly states that homosexual acts are a sin; God does not condone homosexuality. So we cannot allow gays to enter an apparent sanctified union before God. A Civil Ceremony provides the same legal rights without the religious significance. Permit gays to enter a civil ceremony, but don't call it marriage.
