Nov 4, 2011 - Sorry the fx-ES PLUS series cannot be upgraded by my way, so you cannot solve the equation on your fx-82es PLUS. However, on the fx-991es (or the upgraded fx-82es), you can use SOLVE function: input the expression, then press shift+CALC(on a 991es) or shift+Abs(on a 82es), then press = several times. You can get the user manual of fx-991es online.

Nov 4, 2011 - Well it's totally a bug... I made the VRAM overflowed and the mode of calculator changed. (fx-82es is in mode P3 and 991es is in mode P0) It was already fixed in fx-es plus series. There is NO WAY to upgrade an fx-82es plus at present. :(
