May 5, 2012 - VIII was the fastest selling Final Fantasy, why didn't it get a sequel again? No nostalgia to bank on(VII), not current (X, XII and XIII). By the way, IV did the whole character connections thing first, far better too. But you probably wouldn't know that, you seem to be the type of 'fan' who actively dislikes I-VI and IX. And no, millions of gamers do not agree XIII was fantastic, one of the best, or even good at all. Lost Odyssey was the only good turn based, console, JRPG this gen.

VII = 9 mill, i'm saying xiii is as good in my opinion as vii, and a lot of people agree because most ratings it earned were between 8-10 out of 10. Of course it earned some 7s and sometimes a 6 if there were higher expectations, but overall many reviews said it was great. I'm going off of statistics, you're going off of subjective fallacies. LOL It solds around 60% of its stock, but RPG's aren't doing too well now.
