Mar 31, 2012 - Ummm, yeah....I was around when the Beatles all were brand new here in the USA. I saw them on the Ed Sullivan show in '64 I think it was....and could tell you who played what and what kind of hair tonic they used and what their girlfriends names were...etc. etc. etc. So yes....we all know Paul is the bass player. But look at his guitar and what he's playing as the song goes on....he ISN"T playing the bass lines. That's what we're all speaking about. See for yourself. It's gotta be the organist.

Mar 31, 2012 - Hmmm...I never considered that it could be a guitar pick on his forehead. I remember the mid-late 60's...some of the hippie chicks would have something that they thought looked kind of "mystical" that they'd have on their foreheads. Sometimes there'd be a center piece for the middle of the forehead...which was attached to a circular band that encircled the entire head. I always figured they were some kind of crystal...or bead maybe. It was a cool look, for awhile. But what these guys have on ???

Look at it this way....he's introducing many, many new listeners to the stuff that you and I grooved on (haven't said that word in 40 yrs, lol) back in the day. And IMO....these guys are laying it down bigtime! Doin' the song proper, for sure. Don't you think it sounds great??

Mar 31, 2012 - Isn't that funny, as I was watching these many youtube live performances of Paul and his band, I was wondering what his band makes too. I bet the drummer, and the two guitarists make at least $1 million plus a year, that's my guess. They are clearly top notch musicians. Good enough to play with Paul McCartney. That tells you how good they are. I'm 57 too:)

Mar 31, 2012 - I agree, and I used to play them for years. I'm not a kid...(57). It's funny, but some guys just don't like his playing. They can't be basing their opinion off of this vid, as I think he's flawless. But I have read some disparaging stuff. But...God himself on the drums will make some guys negative. But again, I think this guy Abe kicks some ass. You KNOW that McCartney can summon the best when he wants to put together a band. I wonder actually, what type of money his players make. Anybody know?
