Mar 25, 2011 - So I guess that means no ILS? Great video, enjoyed every second of it. The D8A is a great aircraft, very rugged, can fly in terrible field and weather conditions.

Jul 25, 2011 - Can a C-17 make it there?

BingoBangoCongo mowi:

Jul 25, 2011 - yes of course... permanently

HDaviator mowi:

Jul 28, 2011 - It could probably stop within the distance and takeoff too. The problem I could see is the mud and it sustaining the weight of an aircraft like a C-17. I could easily see it get stuck in a place like that.

Apr 14, 2012 - Boeing landed a 737 as a publicity stunt in Hope, British Columbia, Canada... a tiny grass feild used for Gliders. Amazing stuff eh?
