Apr 25, 2012 - Saw "The Dirty picture" and i was curious to know more about Silk Smitha & the reasons behind her decline. The movie is great no doubt but it would have been better had some kind of acknowledgement been made towards the real Silk..may she rest in peace and may our society not create any more silk smithas out of innocent girls, if we as a society are truly conscientious..and if we care for women's rights generally speaking, then we would prevent the women being exploited this way in the future.
