The point forgotten in this whole debate is not simply normal athletes vs. disabled athletes, but also that they are KIDS! Doing something like this for a student in his last year of school is pretty darn cool in my book.

May 12, 2012 - idk i thought it was iffy at first, but when you really think about it, he must have been elated. i work with mentally challenged children. many downs syndrome children are also handicapped in terms of intelligence, and just by the nature of that being true they get incredibly excited at things they do that are positive, even if to us it doesnt seem like such a big deal (such as scoring a touchdown with no one chasing him). but it probably made his universe, and im happy that he got to do that.
