Apr 5, 2012 - thank you for that thoughtful reply. i guess then that i am honored to have flown on such a fine aircraft. In hillbilly parlance, the DASH-8 is one dag gum fine aeroplane! i think i'll write a story about a Q-400.

Apr 6, 2012 - that lady sound weird ....... she must be first flight

RyBoy991 mowi:

Apr 13, 2012 - the electronics only interfere with the gps on the plain not the engine

RyBoy991 mowi:

Apr 13, 2012 - HOW THE HELL THE PLANE COULD STAY FLYING STRAIGHT WITH ONLY ONE ENGINE WORKING?

MKhsv mowi:

Apr 13, 2012 - -.-

RyBoy991 mowi:

Apr 13, 2012 - what's that supposed to mean?

stotheh mowi:

Apr 17, 2012 - Er, by using the rudder?

clear661 mowi:

Apr 20, 2012 - Not the gps, it *might* interfere with the radar, but rarely

ScroungerPistol1 mowi:

Apr 21, 2012 - Thanks for posting this vid!.. its the real deal , no bullshit fakes and music drown outs)

nz3rdsqr mowi:

Apr 24, 2012 - asymetric flight (flight with one engine) is actually very normal its not that different to fly just a lot off rudder and a little bit of bank and it can easily be done so long as the aircraft doesnt fly below whats called minimum control speed at which point the remaining engine has too much thrust for the rudder to compenate for

HaggisPowah mowi:

Apr 27, 2012 - greased the landing too! good job by the crew

xairman565 mowi:

Apr 30, 2012 - Because it had pilots who didn't get intimidated by CAPS LOCK flying it?

Kosh800 mowi:

Apr 30, 2012 - The idea is simple but the flying isn't. And any bad turns, poor speed, poor angles, ect could very well lead to a stall/spin. Especially on take off or right after take off seeing as how that's when most plane crashes occur.

nz3rdsqr mowi:

Apr 30, 2012 - yep but that is in general just proper use of controls, procidures and energy managment. but yea its diffinatly on the take off its the most dangerous. its a lot of look after the aircraft and it will look after you.

stema84 mowi:

May 1, 2012 - Have you ever seen a wheel turning backwards on a road? Same effect here because of the ccd sensor. Fake!

wormsbr mowi:

May 2, 2012 - You are absolutelly wrong. You can see the left prop full feathered, indicating the engine in-flight shutdown. Learn a bit more of airplane engines before telling bullshit.

derekwall82 mowi:

May 8, 2012 - Did anyone hear the engine noise, it sounds like someone was revving it. when that happens you know youre plane is likely having some serious engine issues. And it seems as if the dash 8 series 400 has been having trouble with everything from little computer glitches to landing gear and engine failure

derekwall82 mowi:

May 8, 2012 - damn that engine surge sounds horrifying as hell, if i was on that flight id seriously start thinking about bringin parachutes on board just in case

MydogTobes mowi:

May 11, 2012 - "This is your captain speaking. We have experienced an abnormallity with one of our engines so as a precaution we have shut the other one down as well...."

MarlonCollection mowi:

May 13, 2012 - i flew dash 8 many times on company pass, i had 1 engine failure and restart in flight from toronto to sudbury and one runway skid because of snow in sudbury where one wheel went on the grass parallel the taxiway

quophy mowi:

May 16, 2012 - smoothest engine failure landing

fa18chornet mowi:

May 17, 2012 - Engine no 1 fail, feathered and shutdowned followed by a smooth landing with some higher speed for security well executed. By the way thanks for the post and not added damn music...

pbatez mowi:

May 18, 2012 - no applause ?

MovieMad007 mowi:

May 19, 2012 - perfect take off and perfect landing...with 1 engine!!!! brilliant!!!

MovieMad007 mowi:

May 19, 2012 - now the difficult bit.......re-imbursing the passenger.....:((((
