I got a associates degree in muilti media and now I have $50,000 in student loans with a 15% interest rate, but its not just me there are ppl with horrible stories out there from ITT. In one class I was the top student because I learned some stuff off of a free tutorial for flash while others were doing it with the teachers way. I learned from 3 5min tutorials what the class learned in over 1month and 20 days. Not sure the instructors were qualified to teach either.

Jan 13, 2012 - LOL! OMG dude i went to that SAME ITT school! After two semesters i dropped out and went to the Art Institute. They were all saying I was the top of the class, blah blah blah. I walked into AI and the WORST at that school was better than the crap coming out of that ITT. 5 kids left and went to the Art Institute with me. lol Mulitmedia there is sooo bad

Unfortunately for that statement, I have been making a lucrative career out of construction for over 20 years and not one of their "educated" tech's could do what I do without schooling and instruction from me. Feb 22, 2012 - The mistake is in thinking that you NEED this or college. Some of you should think about taking on some skilled construction niche. I know guys that were making a killing on installing paver driveways. While this kind of work gets bashed for being hard it also keeps you in shape like a real man and out of that grim dark techno building where you were never meant to dwell. Wake up!!! I can sign you off after 2 years under my supervision and you can then take your own test and then open shop!

Mar 16, 2012 - I can't say that all ITT schools suck but the one I attended was just a money making machine with a half assed attempt to teach. I didn't need to go, I was just close to losing my military education money so decided to go to school. I was taking a networking course, you couldn't take the computers apart, the switches/routers were almost 10 years old and my networking capstone project was about building a webpage?!? Capstones are supposed to be out in the public using the skills you learned.

I am moving there next year and I only have a applied science degree in information technology and a certificate in hardware and desktop support. I do not have any experience though besides that, I am hoping i can get a entry level job, i hope $18 an hour. any info would be appreciated because last time I lived there. I was working 80 hours getting $8 an hour an dlife wa horrible. this time i wan tto be prepared.

I also heard a lot of It jobs are going to India so a lot of jobs here will be scarce and people with masters and PHd's will be getting the entry level jbs etc. heard of any of that?

May 2, 2012 - I went to the ITT in Ft lauderdale, utter shit. I think i actually went ot the same class as the guy who posted this. Small world i found this because im looking at his fennec fox. On a good note i safely say I am in a good job position as a Director of IT. However it was no thanks to ITT Tech. I learned all of the things I know through the internet. Fuck colleges. and fuck that student loan ill probably never pay back.
