Jun 21, 2010 - I agree completely. DS was the first version of this game that I bought. I also was extremely disappointed in the features of the game. The variety of breeds, fur styles and customization was painfully limited, The only Job option is veteranarian, and game play was miserable. I like my PS2 version much better.

Jun 21, 2010 - There are different version with different breeds. I have both the Playstation 2 and Nintendo DS versions, and the Playstation version has far more breeds. The versions I have offer only dogs and cats, however in the PC version you can get other animals, such as hamsters and birds. The DS version only has about 6 or 8 different breeds, but PS2 has probably close to 30 breeds and is much more customizable.

Sep 22, 2010 - yes they can breed for the one on ps2 i have it... but the pc version is 10 times better.......... the ps2 version is pretty cool but to find all the secrets and stuff search the sims 2 pets walkthrough on google. also the gamecube version is exactly the same as the ps2 one.

Jul 6, 2011 - [I think that all games that are made on Wii and Play-Station always turn out bad on DS and Gamboys, because the screen is smaller and can't fit enough actions onto a card... (This is just a thought)
