So they had to hedge themselves by going short in the futures market. CRAPOLA. What a liar. They would hedge themselves by BUYING gold on the futures market to replace the gold they just sold. What these bullion banks were doing was trying to force down the price of gold, hoping to bankrupt the bullish longs out of their leveraged positions. Frackin lying manipulator.
