Feb 8, 2012 - wow,,,very good,, i am showing this video to my sister and my brother,,hahahahaha

Knightyme mowi:

Feb 21, 2012 - Re-watch from 5:45 and listen *closely* to the explanation of 'color'. Perhaps the analogy is not entirely accurate, but this vid is dumbed down to a level most people can understand, even if the science is slightly inaccurate to what it actually is. People who want to know more can go do further research and get the science in its raw state. If anyone thinks this is hard to understand, try it full on.

tremault mowi:

Feb 21, 2012 - @Knightyme Ah ok, I see now. They aren't trying to be literal. I think the video fails its intended purpose as it may be dumbed down but not in a way that helps laymen understand. I'm not what you call average in terms of understanding so I'm trying to figure out which parts are literal and which are theory and which are observed.

Mar 12, 2012 - @ataraxic89 "We are destined to become gods", so did the satan say.

OurInfiniteFuture mowi:

Mar 18, 2012 - The more research I do on this topic the more I laugh at the Standard Model. One day you Particle Physicists are going to find that there are actually no such thing as particles. What does exist is one complete and perfect substance which moves is various ways to simulate particles and forces. You will find that the Vortex Movement of this substance is responsible for particle simulation and transfer of force. If I had more resources I would get a video made up to explain. but I don't.

Falcrist mowi:

Mar 19, 2012 - The more I hear about force carrier particles, the more they sound like nonsense. Even quantum physics doesn't contradict the known laws of physics the way this does. Good video, but I wonder what we'll think of this theory in 50 or 100 years.

KoreaRwkz mowi:

Mar 26, 2012 - Maybe because the gravitons scatter. Like in the case of photons, light loses intensity further away from the source because they scatter. And photons are so focused in a laser beam that it maintains its intensity over a great distance.

KoreaRwkz mowi:

Mar 26, 2012 - Neutrons are electrically neutral, so how can strong force be an electrical force? I don't know much about Science, I'm just repeating what I read in books and other sources, so I might be right or maybe you're talking about something else?

KoreaRwkz mowi:

Mar 26, 2012 - So gravity is caused by the curvature of space-time or gravitons? Are they different theories or is there a link between these 2?

Jebus495 mowi:

Mar 26, 2012 - I don't believe that the fundamental properties of neutrons (and most subatomic particles for that matter) are properly understood. There's really no 500 character limit friendly way to explain it.

KoreaRwkz mowi:

Mar 27, 2012 - But there are experiments that show that neutrons have no electrical charge. Do you think those experiments do not suffice as proper evidence?

Jebus495 mowi:

Mar 27, 2012 - You're saying that you believe there's no way electricity could have any affect on something without an electrical charge? Perhaps the protons are sucked together in a way that pins the neutrons in. I'm sure that's not how the mechanics work but I hope you get what I'm saying. Electricity operates on the quantum scale but is generally ignored or rather, experiments are conducted in a way that electrical influence is almost completely moot.

KoreaRwkz mowi:

Mar 27, 2012 - I don't know. I pretty much just believe what I read. I know it sounds like I'm a naive person but am I smart enough to make my own judgements? No. And who am I to question the work of scientists? Have you read about mass defect? I don't have a good memory but if I recall correctly, experiments have shown that the mass of the neucleus of an atom does not have the same mass as the total mass of its constituent neucleons. The missing mass is converted into energy that holds the neucleons together.

KoreaRwkz mowi:

Mar 27, 2012 - Why do you believe that the strong force, weak force and gravity are electrical forces then?

Jebus495 mowi:

Mar 27, 2012 - There's really no 500 character limit friendly way to explain it. If you really want a leg up on what I'm talking about check out some theories on the "electrical universe". There are four states of matter, liquid, solid, gas and plasma. Plasma is far more abundant in the universe than any other state of matter and experiments done with plasma are replicable 100% accuracy regardless of size and scale unlike most experiments where there are problems due to scaling.

DairyPirate mowi:

Mar 31, 2012 - that would require a fundamentally different description of the electric force. the strong force and the electric force behave very differently at the same scale. some kind of grand unification at very high energies may be in the future though.

MnM4516 mowi:

Apr 6, 2012 - Stop arguing with this guy, the electric universe is absolute fringe science.
