Dec 30, 2010 - so what is the second tongue depresser number?

SteveBedwell mowi:

Dec 31, 2010 - It's seven. Even though I explain that the tongue depressors aren't important, people still focus on them. And, as a result, miss the fact that I'm indicating with my fingers. This demonstration is a great way to show people that they tend to look at a problem from one point of view and then immediately dash off after a solution. Often it's more effective to reframe the problem itself from different angles, before looking for answers.

Feb 5, 2011 - Good stuff, thanks, Agreed, often we're surprised to find a positive solution to what initially seemed to be purely negative. Standing back & avoiding a mental knee jerk pays dividends. Peace.
