I'm heavily medicated now, and I genuinely haven't suffered in about a year, it was mostly the psychotic aspects I suffered from, the disorganised thought subsided reasonably well. My anti-depressants don't work too well, but thankfully my anti-psychotics are effective.

May 13, 2012 - Also, the disorganised diagnosis was a guess on behalf of my doctor, as my psychosis was atypical and rather different, so I've had aspects of paranoid schizophrenia too. I'm doing a lot better than before.

May 14, 2012 - I deal with deppression too, I feel where your coming from. right now I'm trying electroconvulsive therapy and it doesn't seem to work and I don't have any other options left. Getting fucked up is the only time I feel like I used to feel.

May 15, 2012 - It's a horrible illness, and sadly, because it's invisible, a lot of people overlook it. I hope you pull through it. I've heard nothing but negatives for ECT and thankfully have never had it. Try and get put on Citalopram, it's arguably the most effective anti-depressant. I'm not fully sorted, but I find a mixture of heavy medication and drinking helps.

May 20, 2012 - also, it may sound silly, but I´ve been depressed for a long time, and I found it relieving to keep a sort of diary. Every morning, I write about anything (not necessarily my state). And I struggle to be totally sincere with myself when I write. That helped a lot. Not that I´m happy now, but at least I´m not planning a suicide anymore. As E.S. would say, "I better be quiet now", and that´s it.
